Tom Brady Just Launched This Healthy Meal Subscription Service


While routine workouts and disciplined diets followed by superstar athletes can feel impossible to achieve to the rest of us, Tom Brady has always been game in demystifying exactly what he does to stay in top shape. And this six-time Super Bowl champion is all about eating the right food.

In his 2017 book The TB12 Method, he detailed his diet for the general public, which according to him is a “mix of Eastern and Western philosophies.” Basically, Brady believes in eating foods found in nature (so no chicken nuggets), and letting vegetables lead the way. However, he avoids certain foods that cause inflammation, and stays away from processed stuff as much as possible (although he did tell Men’s Health that obsessively worrying about your diet is probably worse for you than eating that pizza or chip every once in a while.)

The beloved quarterback has partnered with meal subscription service The Good Kitchen to launch his line of TB12 Performance Meals, pre-made frozen meals that adhere to his nutritional philosophy. You can now get a shortcut to the Brady diet with a weekly delivery of basically ready-to-eat meals brought to your doorstep. All you need to do is warm them up, which takes less than 5 minutes.

The meals are $12.99 if you get a subscription, and $14.76 if you’re ordering a la carte, which is pretty comparable to prices at healthy fast casual chains like Sweetgreen.

So what’s on the menu? You can expect a lot of high-protein and whole foods with anti-inflammatory properties, which come in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian versions. A peek at the menu reveals a pretty standard healthy-eating lineup: Herb Roasted Chicken and Vegetables, Roasted Cod with Succotash, Shredded Beef and Rice Bowl, and more.

And in case you’re wondering whether you need to be an athlete to justify getting on the Brady diet train, you don’t. Amber Lewis, CEO of The Good Kitchen, notes the TB12 Performance Meals are “for anyone who’s looking to prioritize their health.”
