NBC Says Trump Will Hold Town Hall Meeting Thursday, Competing Against Biden

October 14, 2020

President Trump may not be debating Joseph R. Biden Jr. on the same stage on Thursday night as originally planned. But the two candidates will still face off head-to-head.

NBC News confirmed on Wednesday that it would broadcast a prime-time town-hall-style event with Mr. Trump from Miami on Thursday at 8 p.m. Eastern, with the president fielding questions from Florida voters.

The event will directly overlap with an already-scheduled ABC televised town-hall meeting with Mr. Biden in Philadelphia, which will begin at the same time.

Mr. Biden’s town hall has been on the books since last week, after Mr. Trump, who had recently contracted the coronavirus, rejected plans to convert the second formal presidential debate into a virtual matchup; the debate was eventually canceled.

The NBC event, to be moderated by the “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie, had been contingent on the Trump campaign providing independent proof that the president

| Health Magazine

In 2017, the Department of Materials Design and Innovation at the University of Buffalo, Clean Production Action, and Niagara Share created the Collaboratory for a Regenerative Environment (CoRE). CoRE brings together academic experts in materials design with entrepreneurial nonprofit organizations to accelerate clean production and sustainable materials in the renewable energy economy. Our innovative collaborations and data-driven tools enable business, government, and nonprofit leaders to identify and select inherently safer chemicals and sustainable materials for a healthy renewable energy economy. Over the past three years, CoRE has focused on the solar energy sector and its supply chainss.

Currently lacking: A proactive, systemic approach

Many renewable energy industries, including solar energy, depend on hazardous chemicals and novel materials to reduce costs and optimize efficiencies. However, some of these chemistries are unsafe for the environment and human health.  For example, solar energy technologies rely on toxic chemicals, such as lead in solar

Rural communities that are vibrant, growing and healthy enjoy a handful of similar resources. One is access to education, and another is access to health care. Ask yourself this question: “Would I move my family to a community that does not meet my needs and expectations as they relate to education and health care?” The answer is no!

Access to health care services is vital to recruit and retain businesses and the jobs they bring. After a great deal of hard work, Gothenburg was able to create the right environment to attract Fortune 500 companies. Access to quality health care services was critical to this process. To many seeking the good life in rural Nebraska, driving 20 miles, instead of 100 for a checkup or procedure, is a deal maker. It means employers seeking to fill jobs can ensure future employees that health care for their families is readily

SIERRA HIGH SCHOOL, Calif. (KFSN) — Hundreds of thousands of acres burned.

Over 1,000 structures damaged or destroyed.

And the Creek Fire hasn’t been fully contained yet.

Fresno County Fire says crews could be putting hot spots out for months.

Those who were hit the hardest by the largest single wildfire in the state’s history are beginning to recover.

On Thursday night, county leaders and officials came before community members face to face at Sierra High School to explain what steps are next in recovering and rebuilding.

A priority for the county is removing toxic debris before winter weather comes along.

“We need state support and federal support to come in and do the hazardous waste removal from properties and to get the ash off the properties,” said Director of Public Health David Pomaville.

A concern brought to light at this meeting was tree removal.

PG&E says they will dispose

Jersey City community leaders speak out against police's use of force in street brawl

Jersey City community leaders, including Frank Gilmore, speak out on Friday, May 8, 2020, against the police’s use of force to break upTuesday’s street bawl on Bostwick Avenue.Reena Rose Sibayan | The Jersey Journal

JERSEY CITY — Sexual sounds and racial slurs disrupted a virtual community meeting of over 500 attendees on Friday, said community leader Frank Gilmore.

Gilmore told The Jersey Journal that he helped organize the virtual Ward F meeting to inform the community of resources for youths’ mental health, public safety, affordable housing and more. But after Chris Gadsden — Jersey City NAACP Political Action Committee Chair and former Ward B councilman — spoke in the meeting, attendees began to hear “weird noises,” Gilmore said.

“We had to mute someone, and then it just got crazy,” he said.

Organizers then ended the Zoom call to hopefully get rid of the noises. Gilmore said they started the
