Biden Pitches to Blue-Collar Workers in Pennsylvania

Joseph R. Biden Jr., the Democratic nominee for president, said that his economic plan would raise taxes on the wealthy to create unionized infrastructure jobs and that he would not ban fracking.

“The fact is the president can only see the world from Park Avenue. I see it from Scranton. I see it from Claymont for real. You all know what I’m talking about. You all see it from Erie. That’s why my program to build back better is focused on working people.” “And I’m not going to raise taxes on anybody making less than 400 grand. But, but, you won’t pay a penny more. But those making more than that, I’m going to ask them to finally begin to pay their fair share. I’m going to ask the big corporations and the

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump on Saturday made his first public appearance since returning to the White House after being treated for the coronavirus. The White House has refused to declare that he is no longer contagious, and the gathering of hundreds of people on the South Lawn went ahead despite the guidance of public health officials.

Trump delivered an address on his support for law enforcement from the Blue Room balcony to a friendly crowd. The president wore a mask as he walked out for the speech but took it off to make his remarks. He received an enthusiastic response from his supporters.

“I’m feeling great,” said Trump, who said he was thankful for their good wishes and prayers as he recovered.

Trump is also priming for a Florida rally on Monday and campaign events in Iowa and Pennsylvania later in the week.

The president addressed the large crowd

Sounding more hoarse than usual and occasionally interrupting himself to cough and clear his throat, President Donald Trump called into Sean Hannity’s Fox News show on Thursday night to give an update on his diagnosis with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and sound off — in Trump fashion — on other topics.

“I think I’m going to try doing a rally on Saturday night, if we have enough time to put it together,” said Trump, less than a day before aides said that he would actually speak with supporters at the White House instead.

Trump, 74, then quickly changed the subject when the Fox News host asked if he had been tested for COVID-19 since his diagnosis a week ago.

“Well what we’re doing is, probably, the test will be tomorrow,” the president said. “The actual test, because there’s no

Donald Trump opened up about his hospitalization and coronavirus symptoms during his first on-camera interview on Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight on Friday.

While billed as on virtual on-camera “medical evaluation” by Dr. Marc Siegel, the president, 74, instead answered questions about his time in the hospital and how he is feeling now.

Trump, who was hospitalized for three days after he announced he tested positive for the virus, said that he’s feeling “really good” and has been off medication for eight hours.

Admitting that he didn’t feel very “vital” upon his hospitalization last Friday, Trump said his symptoms included a sore throat and lack of energy.

“I didn’t have a problem with breathing… I had none of that,” Trump told Siegel over a video call from New York.

However, doctors were concerned after a CT scan revealed some congestion on his

President Donald Trump left the hospital minutes after tweeting that he was going to surprise supporters outside Walter Reed.

Wochit

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump returned to the White House on Monday, three days after he was hospitalized for coronavirus, in a made-for-television moment that was full of symbolism but also underscored lingering questions about the extent of the president’s illness.

Minutes after walking out of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Trump stepped off Marine One, climbed the steps of the South Portico and – pointedly – removed his mask. Flanked by American flags, Trump gave several thumbs up and saluted as his helicopter took off and then entered the White House. It was not clear if he put his mask back on inside.

“Don’t let it dominate you. Don’t be afraid of it. You’re going to beat it,” Trump said in a video posted to his Twitter

Days after coronavirus hospitalization, Trump briefly leaves Walter Reed to salute supporters | News

BETHESDA, Md. (AP) — Two days after being hospitalized with COVID-19, President Donald Trump declared, “I get it,” in a message to the nation Sunday before briefly leaving the hospital to salute supporters from his motorcade, a move that again showed his willingness to disregard basic precautions to contain the virus that has killed more than 209,000 Americans.

Hours earlier, Trump’s medical team reported that his blood oxygen level dropped suddenly twice in recent days and that they gave him a steroid typically only recommended for the very sick. The doctors also said his health is improving and that he could be discharged as early as Monday.

Trump Makes a ‘Little Surprise Visit’ Outside Walter Reed on Day 3 of His Coronavirus Hospitalization

President Donald Trump temporarily left Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to wave at his supporters on Sunday, which was day 3 of his coronavirus hospitalization.

Possibly concerned about optics and taking publicity matters into his own hands, Trump, who was wearing a black face mask, was driven by his presidential motorcade in front of the D.C. hospital. Waving his bare hand from one of the black SUVs, Trump, 74, greeted the crowds of people who were waving “Make America Great Again” flags and posters.

Minutes prior to Sunday’s unannounced car ride, Trump tweeted another video from the hospital. “We’re getting great reports from the doctors. This is an incredible hospital, Walter Reed. The work they do is absolutely amazing. I want to thank them all, the nurses, doctors. I’ve also got to meet some of the soldiers and what a group,” he began.

“I

What Is Remdesivir? President Trump Receiving Treatment Following COVID-19 Hospitalization

October 4, 2020

President Trump is reportedly receiving an experimental antiviral medication called remdesivir after contracting for Covid-19.

NBC News reported that Trump was given his first dose of the drug at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland on Friday. The president is expected to continue to receive the drug over the course of five days via IV.

Remdesivir is a drug that was manufactured by Gilead Sciences and is used to lower the amount of the virus within the body. Clinical trials from May revealed that the drug lowered the hospitalization of COVID-19 patients by about four days.

Trump is reportedly receiving remdesivir as a part of a double-barreled treatment plan that includes an antibody cocktail.

Although the medication Trump has received is still in its clinical phase, Dr. Hugh Cassiere, director of critical care services for Sandra Atlas Bass Heart Hospital at North Shore University Hospital, told the

Dr. Bandy Lee, whose willingness to jettison professional ethics and declare President Trump mentally unstable has made her a popular fixture at CNN and MSNBC, is capitalizing on an incident of self-harm to attack the commander in chief.

Former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale is in the hospital. He threatened to harm himself this weekend at his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, according to law enforcement officials.

“Brad Parscale is a member of our family and we all love him. We are ready to support him and his family in any way possible,” Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh said in a statement.

Self-harm is serious. Suicide is serious.

Someone should tell that to Lee.

“Here is another side effect of continuing with a mentally impaired leader,” the Yale University psychiatry professor said in reaction to the Parscale news, “it will attract mental

Another eight South Dakotans have died from COVID-19 as hospitalizations, rates of new cases and active cases continue to break records six months after the pandemic first hit the state.

According to the Department of Health’s daily coronavirus update, the new deaths match the highest one-day total in South Dakota. Eight deaths were also reported on Sept. 16.

Thursday’s numbers show the deaths were accompanied by 463 new confirmed cases of the virus Thursday. That’s a single-day record for new cases, outpacing the previous record of 445 set Wednesday.

“We need everybody working really hard to see any change in the numbers,” South Dakota Health Secretary Kim Malsam-Rysdon told reporters during a press call Thursday. “If you’re not isolating, we’re going
