Trump says he is ‘medication free’ in an interview with Fox News.

President Trump, in his first televised interview since he announced that he had tested positive for the coronavirus, said Friday night that he was “medication free” and back to normal, a week after he was hospitalized after having trouble breathing.

“I feel very strong,” he said.

In the interview with Dr. Marc Siegel on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Fox News, Mr. Trump claimed that he went to Walter National Reed Military Medical Center last Friday because he “didn’t feel strong.” But the president denied that he had experienced any trouble breathing, despite multiple people close to the White House saying in interviews that he had, in fact, had trouble breathing and that doctors had given him supplemental oxygen at the White House before his transfer to the hospital.

Mr. Trump said that there had been congestion in his lungs and he lauded his CT scans, which he called “amazing.” He

Viewers who trust Fox News coverage more than CNN’s are slightly less likely to take preventative measures against the novel coronavirus and a little more likely to put themselves at risk, according to a new study published Thursday in the journal BMJ Global Health.

“Health messaging, despite being one of the few effective ways to slow down the spread of the virus in the absence of a vaccine, is doomed to fail if the media prioritize political interests over population health,” said study authors Erfei Zhao and Qiao Wu, who are both PhD students at the Leonard Davis School of Gerontology at the University of Southern California.

Trump makes bold claims about his health as he returns to the Fox interview circuit

October 8, 2020

| Health Current Events

Trump, who at 74 years and clinically obese is at an elevated risk of serious complications from Covid-19, has repeatedly said he feels better than he has in 20 years. On Thursday, he said he feels “perfect” and “there’s nothing wrong.”

Using a joking tone, he claimed he was a “perfect physical specimen, adding “I’m lucky in that way.”

Trump has tried to project a sense that he has conquered the virus and to imbue a sense of normalcy that has unmistakably altered operations at the White House. The president on Wednesday resumed working out of the Oval Office, just two days after returning from the hospital, though other parts of the White House were staffed with a skeleton crew and those visiting the president had to be decked out in PPE.

“You catch this thing. A lot of people caught it,” Trump said of the coronavirus, which has killed

Rudy Giuliani’s cough kept interrupting him while he tried to attack Biden on Fox News

While waiting to receive the results of a coronavirus test, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani appeared on Fox News Monday night, where he coughed throughout his interview with host Martha MacCallum.

Giuliani is President Trump’s personal lawyer and one of his most ardent supporters. He helped Trump prepare for last week’s debate against Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, and several people Giuliani came in close contact with, including Trump, former White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, Trump aide Hope Hicks, and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) have all tested positive for the coronavirus.

Giuliani shared with MacCallum that he recently tested negative for COVID-19, but two hours before his appearance, he took a second test, “one of those all the way in the back of the nose tests,” The Daily Beast reports. MacCallum told Giuliani she hopes he receives “a negative on that one,” and then asked

Amid a wave of conflicting information from the White House about when President Donald Trump was first diagnosed with COVID-19, multiple news outlets now report the president knew he had already tested positive by the time he called into Sean Hannity’s Fox News program on Thursday night.

The president had already tested positive for COVID-19 on a rapid test and was awaiting further confirmation from a more secure PCR test while he was speaking with Hannity, according to CBS News and The Wall Street Journal which cited White House sources.

Calling into the program from the White House, Trump revealed his close adviser Hope Hicks had tested positive earlier in the day, calling it a “terrible thing.”

Trump, 74, then told Hannity that he

On Friday, the White House revealed that President Trump was given a dose of an antibody cocktail following his coronavirus diagnosis.

COULD REGENERON’S ANTIBODY COCKTAIL HELP PRESIDENT TRUMP?

According to a statement from White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, Trump received an 8-gram dose of the polyclonal antibody cocktail, REGN-COV2, from pharmaceutical company Regeneron, as a “precautionary measure.”

TRUMP DELIVERS VIDEO MESSAGE SAYING HE THINKS HE IS ‘DOING VERY WELL’

Polyclonal antibodies are made up of heterogeneous cells which “are usually produced by different B cell clones in the body,” according to Creative Diagnostics, a privately-owned American company specializing in the research and manufacturing of antibodies. Polyclonal antibodies can identify and attach to different epitomes, a specific piece of a single antigen.

They are produced in live beings, whereas monoclonal antibodies are produced using tissue-culture techniques, the biotechnology company reported.

ThedaCare leaders hosted a conversation with school, business and public health stakeholders, as well as representatives from Ascension Wisconsin’s Appleton hospital, on Thursday to discuss the rapid rise of COVID-19 patients in hospitals.

The speed of the spread of the virus could more than double the number of needed hospital beds by the end of this month, ThedaCare senior innovation executive Frank Mellon told community stakeholders in a virtual meeting.

Models initially projected a peak of 114 beds needed to care for COVID-19 patients in the region, Mellon said. Now, they’ll need close to 180 — and could need a hundred more if transmission rates keep rising.

That possibility doesn’t just endanger COVID-19 patients, ThedaCare President and CEO Dr.

Fox News Lobotomizes Its ‘Brain Room,’ Cuts Fact-Based Journalism

September 29, 2020

| Health Facts

The recent mass layoffs at Fox News—an estimated body count of around 70, amounting to a little less than 3 percent of the cable channel’s workforce—signal what current and former employees describe as the purposeful devaluing of fact-based journalism in favor of right-wing opinion, race-baiting, and conspiracy-mongering at the top-rated, Donald Trump-friendly cable outlet.

Fox News’ PR department used anodyne corporate-speak to characterize the job losses, namely “restructuring various divisions in order to position all of our businesses for ongoing success.” But the layoffs, outside of the hair and makeup department, cut most deeply into the channel’s straight-news operations at Fox News Digital and elsewhere, according to insiders, while protecting the ratings-heavy, revenue-generating domains of Fox & Friends in the morning, and of Trump cheerleaders Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, and Laura Ingraham in primetime.

The outlet’s so-called “Brain Room,” which the late Fox News founder Roger Ailes established as
