(AllHipHop News)

Carmela Wallace, mother of late rapper Juice WRLD, opened up about her late son’s “struggles with addiction, anxiety, and depression” to mark World Mental Health Day 2020.

In the letter, Wallace writes of the “Lucid Dreams” star, real name Jarad Anthony Higgins: “I think he felt comfortable being honest with me because I never judged him. I recognized that what Jarad was dealing with was a disease and I know he truly wanted to be free from the demons that tormented him.

“As a parent, I believed early on and supported Jarad having access to counseling,” she admitted. “I encouraged him to always share his feelings.”

Juice WRLD died on December 8th, 2019 at the age of 21. His death was ruled an accidental overdose “as a result of oxycodone and codeine toxicity.”

| Community Health

THE VILLAGES, Fla. (AP) — Sara Branscome’s golf cart whizzed down the smooth asphalt path that winds through The Villages, the nation’s largest retirement community, an expanse of beautiful homes, shops and entertainment venues that bills itself as “Florida’s Friendliest Hometown.”

Branscome’s cart was festooned with two American flags that flapped in the warm afternoon breeze. A line of oncoming carts bedecked with balloons and patriotic streamers chugged past while honking. Branscome jabbed her left foot on the horn pedal, then gave a thumbs-up.

“This gets you rejuvenated and ready for the next month or so, so we can do this and win. It gives you hope,” the 60-year-old retiree said.

Then she let out a whoop and two surprising words: “Go Biden!”

It’s not a cry that might be expected to resound in The Villages, and it’s certainly not one that is encouraging to President Donald Trump. Older voters

LSU eliminating CDC wellness check for fans

October 6, 2020

| Health News

Louisiana State University (LSU) announced Monday it would no longer require a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) medical wellness check for fans attending an upcoming home game against the University of Missouri in Baton Rouge, La.

Previously, fans were required to answer a questionnaire to assess the health and potential COVID-19 exposure before entering the stadium. The CDC Facilities COVID-19 Screening included questions about coronavirus symptoms, exposure and whether the person was awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test.

Now, fans will not be screened, according to the university, but will still be required to wear masks in the stadium seating areas.

The school noted the decision was made “to reduce lines and wait times at gate entry points” but urged those coming to the game “to conduct a self-assessment before heading to the game to check for covid-19 symptoms.”

Adding to the confusion about his status, Trump briefly left Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda to wave to supporters from a motorcade, after releasing a video on Twitter thanking people who had gathered outside the facility.

“We’re getting great reports from the doctors,” Trump said in the video before promising a “little surprise” to his supporters. “It’s been a very interesting journey. I learned a lot about covid.”

At a news conference earlier Sunday, Trump’s medical team tried to clear up the muddled picture it had created the previous day when White House doctor Sean Conley falsely suggested that Trump had not been given supplemental oxygen.

But Conley continued to avoid directly answering specific questions about Trump’s health Sunday, even as he revealed that the president had been given dexamethasone, a steroid that is typically reserved for severely ill coronavirus patients needing oxygen. Conley openly admitted to

After the release of Chapter 991, the next chapter of the series was tentatively scheduled to release in just a few days on October 4th. But soon, fans were taken by surprise when Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump announced that One Piece would be taking an unexpected break until the October 16th issue, two weeks after its initially planned release. What made fans worry, however, is that it revealed to be due to the creator’s health.

It was announced that the delay was due to Oda feeling ill all of a sudden, but thankfully the editorial staff shared a positive update in the matter that notes that Oda has recovered and is already hard at work towards making that October 16th issue. The statement was shared through the

Next Friday, Oct. 2, large-capacity outdoor venues are expected to reopen, with some restrictions. The Panthers plan to host fans two days later.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Fans will be roaring again soon in Bank of America Stadium, and Mecklenburg County health officials feel assured of the safety protections that will be in place.

Next Friday, October 2, Gov. Roy Cooper is expected to ease COVID-19 restrictions for large outdoor venues, allowing places that hold more than 10,000 people to reopen at seven percent capacity. The statewide stadium policy changes will happen in time to allow visitors back into Bank of America Stadium for the Panthers’ next home game against the Arizona Cardinals on October 4.
