Doug’s Service Center temporarily closed by health department – News – The Topeka Capital-Journal

The Shawnee County health department has temporarily shut down Doug’s Service Center for allegedly violating “isolation and quarantine orders.”
Craig Barnes, division manager in Community Health Outreach and Planning at the Health Department, said after the store closed at 5:30 p.m. today, employees of the store will not be allowed to return for at least 48 hours and after the store is deep cleaned.
Businesses temporarily closed by the health department for violating COVID-19 protocols must also “submit a plan to the Health Officer addressing safety measures moving forward,” said an Oct. 7 press release announcing the closure.
Doug Rosencutter, owner of Doug’s Service Center, 601 SW Fairlawn Rd., said two employees tested positive for COVID-19, but those employees have not been back to work since they tested positive.
