White House physician Sean Conley (R) gives an update on the condition of US President Donald Trump, on October 3, 2020, at Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Ronald Reagan’s daughter criticized the White House’s handling of Trump’s medical information in an op-ed published Sunday.

Ronald Reagan’s daughter, Patti Davis, criticized the Trump administration over its disclosure of President Donald Trump’s health status amid his COVID-19 diagnosis in an op-ed for the Washington Post.

“Now the country is confronted with a president suffering from a potentially deadly virus,” Davis wrote in an op-ed published Sunday by the newspaper. “Instead of accurate and complete information, Americans are receiving only sketchy details and evasive answers.”

Davis reflected on her father’s hospitalization in the aftermath of his 1981 shooting, comparing the response of the Reagan administration to that of the Trump administration.

Shawn Johnson and Andrew East are already committed to making sure their 10-month-old daughter, Drew Hazel, has a positive view of herself.

The couple recently opened up to PEOPLE about the small, and adorable, ways in which they reinforce a positive body image for Drew. The effort is especially important for Johnson, 28, who recently told fans about her struggles with eating disorders after competing in the 2008 Olympics as a gymnast.

For East, welcoming his daughter last November helped open his eyes to the burden of a negative body image.

“Now that I have a daughter, I feel like I have a different perspective on it, whereas before, I don’t think I really understood the body image issues as a male as much,” he tells PEOPLE.

“But now it’s something that I’m consciously trying to build in Drew as a positive self-image, because I know that

The Colombia woman who was rescued at sea by fishermen has a history of mental health issues that may have contributed to the bizarre saga in which she was off the grid for two years, her family said.

Paula Castiblanco said she believes that her mother, Angelica Gaitan, suffers from psychological trauma that played a role in her becoming lost at sea more than a mile off the coast of Puerto Colombia, Colombian outlet El Heraldo reported.

“We think that during that period of time that she was missing, perhaps something could have happened to her that caused her psychological trauma,” her daughter told the outlet.

She added that her mother had long grappled with panic attacks, which were often brought on by the sight of high-end cars.

“Every time she saw a high-end car she would scream and say that they were coming for her [and] that we shouldn’t

The Pandemic, a Deadly Cancer and My 14-Year-Old Daughter | World News

TAL-OROQQ, Malta (Reuters) – Strangely, I can’t clearly picture the face of the surgeon who changed my family’s life. I’m not sure I’d recognize him if I bumped into him in the street. And yet I can vividly recall his face turning pale the instant he looked at the X-rays of my 14-year-old daughter’s shoulder.

Her chronic pain had first been diagnosed as a likely inflammation, and then possibly some problem in the muscle that could be fixed with a few physiotherapy sessions. But on that day, October 31, 2019, we found out that it was Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare and extremely aggressive form of bone cancer. The cancer had started deep in the sponge bone of her humerus and then broke out through the bone surface, causing excruciating pain, then metastasizing to several other parts of her body.

Rebecca, or Becs, as we call her, was suddenly fighting for
