Princeton Senior Resource Center will host “An Evening with Al Franken” 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, on Zoom.
Franken will discuss his time as a comedian on “Saturday Night Live” and his stint as a U.S. senator. Tickets for the virtual event are $60 and are available at princetonsenior.org or by calling 609-751-9699. Closed captioning will be available.
Franken won five Emmys as a cast member and writer for 15 seasons on “Saturday Night Live” and served in the Senate from 2009 to 2018 before resigning amid allegations of sexual misconduct.
Most recently, Franken has focused his time and energy on “issues like health care, the growing disparities in income, wealth, and opportunity, climate, immigration, justice, xenophobia, education, the role of money in every part of our politics, and, indeed, the very future of our democracy.”
