A Susquehanna Township-based company with offices in several states has acquired a Maryland-based health and life benefits agency.
Ritter Insurance Marketing, a field marketing organization that supports independent insurance agents in the senior health and life insurance market has acquired the Secure Benefits Alliance, an eight-year-old company based in Reisterstown.
“Ritter Insurance Marketing’s acquisition of Secure Benefits Alliance solidifies our insurance distribution network in the mid-Atlantic market,” the company said in a statement. “This deal will help to expand our service to agents and clients in a target region as well as provide agents who were in SBA’s hierarchy with proven successful and effective ways of doing business, including access to our market-leading insurance sales software, which we call the Ritter Platform.”
SBA co-owners, Jake and Shelly McGeoy, will continue in new positions within Ritter’s organization. SBA’s call center will still feature its current capabilities and support, and Shelly McGeoy will continue managing all telesales operations. Ritter Insurance Marketing will maintain Secure Benefits Alliance’s office at 410 Main St. in Reisterstown, Maryland. All three employees from Secure Benefits Alliance will continue with Ritter Insurance Marketing.
Ritter Insurance Marketing has satellite offices in New York, New York; Omaha, Nebraska; and Nampa, Idaho. The company has more than 220 full-time employees, which support the business of thousands of independent insurance agents in all 50 states.
Craig Ritter is the president of Ritter Insurance Marketing.
